Few things are as basic to our health as the foods we eat. When there’s a food recall or a food safety alert, you want to know about it now — before you eat it. On March 1, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service launched a series of Twitter feeds that will provide state-specific food safety alerts directly to consumers.
