Writing Without Periods…

Mary and Jenny, of the blog Writing Without Periods, bestowed upon me the title of this week’s “Sensational Woman.” Thank you, ladies.
Mary and Jenny are multi-published authors and observers of their own crazy lives. Life after 40 is another story!

Hi, Ann. Jo here coming to you from Mary and Jenny’s featured blog on you.
As an advoacte for MS (I’m a fundraiser and volunteer having a good friend with MS who enlightened me and got me proactive in it’s cause) I felt compelled to write to you.
In addition to being an active fundraiser, I, too, am an aspiring writer and have submitted articles for consideration of publication, to no avail. One such article was my foray into the MS cause I submitted to ‘Momentum’ magazine.
I am embarking on my third annual MS Walk this April and am knee deep in fundraising.
Through my work with the NMSS, I have been invited to work at their MS camp they hold once a year for a week in May. What a glorious experience to be with these people who seek out joy and never take anything for granted.
So, I guess I just wanted you to know that there are many people out there to whom MS matters and fight to eradicate it, and by you allowing Mary and Jenny to feature you brings about more awareness.
By the way, I mentioned to them that you are just beautiful! Not for your age, but for ANY age!
Wishing you peace, serenity and better health,
~Jo
