Aspartame and MS
Written by Ann Pietrangelo on October 1st, 2007 in General, Linked Articles.
Dozens of times since being diagnosed with MS in 2004, I have received email warnings about the artificial sweetener aspartame. Mostly it is sent by well-meaning folks who want to enlighten me.
The emails speak of several illnesses, including MS. They detail how MS patients have gotten out of the wheelchairs and walked after having given up their diet soft drinks for a few days.
The last time this was sent to me I wanted to scream. Just because something is said in an email, just because you’ve heard it a thousand times, does not make it true.
Don’t take anything at face value. Question. Research. Learn.
This link to a post on the blog, “Moonflake”, puts it very well. Please take the time to read it — tell Moonflake that Mandy sent you.
