About

I was diagnosed with Relapsing/Remitting Multiple Sclerosis in 2004, after six months of frightening symptoms and innumerable medical tests. That is a surprisingly quick diagnosis for for MS patients.

While MS is not usually fatal, and its victims normally live long lives, the widespread complications and life-altering nature of this disease can be physically, emotionally and financially devastating to the patient and the entire family structure.

As someone living with multiple sclerosis, my intent with this blog is, first and foremost, to inform. The symptoms of MS vary so wildly from patient to patient that it is common to feel alone and isolated. Individuals with MS, as well as their families, can benefit from the shared experience of others. Along the way I also hope to inspire and perhaps cause a chuckle or two though my own every day experiences.

Although I will be posting links to important articles and information regarding multiple sclerosis, this is not a medical site and there is no substitute for consultation with your own personal physician.

Thank you for visiting.
